Santa’s nephews have come to Crystal Falls to run a cookie business. If they fail, they’ll have to go back to the North Pole and fill their uncle’s black boots when he retires. But sick of toys, elves, and the North Pole’s influence, that’s the last thing Landon and Aaron want. They’re looking for love.

Jayne isn’t much for sentimental family holidays and she certainly doesn’t believe in magic. Working in the Crystal Falls post office, she is mystified when she handles mail bearing a North Pole postal mark.

When Landon and Jayne meet, their attraction for each other is undeniable, but will the truth about Landon’s life make Jayne a believer, or will it be his love that finally melts her heart?

EXCERPT

“When we agreed to take over operations of Just Cookies, you said you’d do the baking if I took care of the accounts and paperwork. I’m keeping up my end of the bargain, now you do yours.” Aaron’s grin revealed a mouthful of white, even teeth, courtesy of years’ worth of braces.

“You’re right.” Landon took up a rolling pin then smoothed out the dough, stopping only when the mass was half an inch thick and the size of a serving tray. “You wouldn’t happen to know how long gingerbread cookies are supposed to bake, would you?” He couldn’t remember what the instructions were. In some consternation, his gaze landed on a stack of recipe cards. Maybe he needed another look"or a quick call to a real baker.

“Brother, it’s your problem now. I’m gonna go for a jog and check out this tiny town.” Aaron thrust his hands into black leather gloves.

“Why Uncle Chris decided this would be a great opportunity for us, I couldn’t say.”

“Uncle Chris wants to challenge us, see if we can be successful in something besides the family business. Since Mom and Dad decided to retire in Belize, Uncle Dearest is frantic for an heir.” Landon wiped at his forehead with the sleeve of his green turtleneck. “It’s a choice between cavities or headaches. Which one do you want to spend your life deal with?” Just the thought of the crowded, noisy workshop was enough to send shivers down his spine.

“Hmm, cookies or toys? Let’s just say neither one appeals to me as a career path.” With another grin, Aaron stretched his arms over his head. “I’ll catch you later.”
