For the first time, Catholic Charismatic Ellen Chaksil is sharing the messages she has received from God since 1978.

Gift of Prophecy

Ellen Chaksil began receiving messages from God after her initiation into a Catholic Charismatic prayer group. Nearly 30 years ago, the words, "When they are threatened with the loss of all this, only then will they turn to Me," sprang into Ellen's consciousness. She had a vision of chaos surrounding the steps of the Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica. She felt instinctively that humanity was threatened and she needed to share what she experienced with church officials.

Her quest led her from her home in Peckville, Pennsylvania to the Vatican. After numerous attempts, she was able to make contact. In 1992, she met Pope John Paul II and in 1996 she received official recognition that he had read her letter detailing the prophecy.

Seeking a way to prevent a future disaster, Ellen contacted Boguslaw Lipinski, Ph.D of Harvard Medical School. He provided hypothetical proof that when people gather to pray, energy is emitted. Armed with this scientific evidence, Ellen views her book as an instrument to educate people on the power of prayer. Only when the world is united in prayer can a power be generated great enough to forestall catastrophe and enable humanity's continued existence.

REVIEW

In 1977, Ellen Chaksil felt what I would term as a moving of the Spirit. She knew something was missing in her life. She was happily married and in good health. The Spirit led her into a deeper relationship with the Lord. Ellen attended a retreat, Renewal Movement, where she discovered that Jesus must be the center of your life. He must come first. Ellen used a journal to record her spiritual journey. Eventually, God led her to use the journal to record prophesy. Too many people turn to God in prayer handing him a wish list. Prayer is also listening. Chaksil received a message for the world. We must change our ways and repent, or we will be destroyed. Chaksil feels she is called to share God's message with the world.

Ellen Chaksil is a Charismatic Catholic. She uses scripture to support her message. I admire Ms. Chaksil's courage to share God's message with the world. I am sure it has not been easy. With God There Is Hope is well-written and easy to understand. This is a message for all of humanity.

EXCERPT

It was in 1978, following my Baptism in the Holy Spirit, that I began keeping a journal. At the time, I wrote merely to record my precious moments with the Lord. In the interim, by way of Jesus and His Holy Spirit, I was graced to perceive an opening into the Divine Realm of God Our Father. I became aware of matters and knowledge I had previously been unaware of possessing.

At that time, there was no thought, plot or plan to write a book. However, in the ensuing years, when I reflected upon the interrelatedness and the outcome of each situation I had been led into, it became clear that the Lord did have a plan for just such a project. I simply responded and moved on in the story I shall share with you.

My account will also include the joys, burdens and hard- ships I experienced throughout these years. It is necessary that I reveal it all to you, as I want to give honor and glory to God, not only for bringing me through those various phases, but also for opening doors for me, thus enabling me to complete my mission. It took me years to fully understand the first prophetic word I heard in 1978: "When they are threatened with the loss of all this, only then will they turn to Me." Initially, in that time and place, I believed God's word was directed solely to my Church, and so I made efforts to take that message to Pope John Paul II.

Following a near-fatal car accident in 1980, I was made aware that the above word was also meant for the whole of humanity, all of God's Children, or Planet Earth would once again meet with devastation and annihilation. However, as you shall read, God our Father and Creator offers Hope for Humanity.
